Peace dawned in Sri Lanka on 19 May 2009 after 30 years of a cruel war.
Sri Lankan community organisations in Auckland, held a Joint Peace and Ranaviru Commemoration Ceremony on Saturday, 18 May 2013 from 10 am to 1.30 pm at Mount Albert War Memorial Hall.
Chief Guest – Sri Lanka High Commissioner for Australia and New Zealand HE Admiral Thisara Samarasinghe.

Auckland Eid Day is the annual event bringing together all the Muslim community in Auckland for a day of joy and happiness to celebrate the great events in our calendar. This is a community lead initiative supported by all the major Muslim organisations.
